The Basic Principles of External Skeletal Fixation

This is the third edition of a well-received book that reflects the state of the art in External Skeletal Fixation Using the Ilizarov and Other Devices. The unique feature of this book is its combination of Ilizarov, Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen/Orthopedic Trauma Association (AO/OTA), and Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Surgery (LLRS) principles, which will allow it to meet the needs of a broader community. Helping readers from zero to master level improve their skills and expertise in the field of Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Surgery (LLRS), it is intended for a wide audience: from students and residents to experts in the field of orthopedic surgery. Thus, its goal is to provide orthopedic surgeons at all levels of training and experience with a tabletop guide offering comprehensive information on the use of external fixation and combined techniques to treat patients with injuries, the consequences of fractures, and orthopedic pathologies.
